Geological Composition
The Eagle deposit consists of two primary ore bodies identified through extensive geological mapping and exploratory drilling. The site contains a combination of massive manganese ore blocks and detritic manganese, providing high-quality ore suitable for international markets.
Ore Characteristics
Massive Manganese Ore: Solid, dark gray, compact, and high-purity ore found in large blocks. It contains pegmatoid veins with quartz and feldspar, occasionally with biotite.
Detritic Manganese Ore: A mixture of manganese pisolites, blocks, and iron concretions within a clay-silt matrix.
Banded Manganese Ore: Characterized by alternating layers of manganese and feldspathic minerals, showing high recovery rates and Mn content ranging from 44% to 52%.
